About Me

About Me

As an artist, I have found a specific focus on capturing and contributing to the beauty in the world. I enjoy translating my vision through multiple mediums such as fashion design, Film, painting, writing, and styling. My primary passion is costume design. I take much of my inspiration from history, films, and artists. Therefore my work reflects a range of styles with a touch of my personal taste. I view fashion as more than garments, as a way of expression, to tell a story or portray a lifestyle, which I endeavor to convey in my designs.

I have a fascination with the capability that film and fashion has to immortalize, people, props and a period of time. I have always been drawn to unique pieces and intricate details in fashion, therefore many of the garments I use in my designs include a well-thought-out, historical quality, depending on the project. The work in my fashion designs reflect qualities of whimsy and detailing, and I construct many of the garments with a wide variety of fabrics and notions.

I set out to create an elevated and unique side to fashion and costume design, linking classic elements and characteristic properties with my own visions and creative concepts. I strive for my work to include timeless elements through careful styling and planning and I feel my work is able to successfully portray the time period and personality of my characters. It is important to me that I constantly am learning, growing and adapting as a designer.
